It's gay. Spaceships flown by excel spreadsheets, as Cam said. Too much time required to get anywhere, and it can be taken away from you in the blink of an eye. This game sucks, coz it's too "real life" with its risk vs. rewards. Graphically, it's not bad, but as far as MMO's go, you're never going to be as good or as strong as those who've been playing longer. You CANNOT catch up.
EDIT: to satisfy MikeC, Ummm, I was flying Armageddons, Abaddon's and Apocalypses on my Amarr combat main and I think I was mining with a Covetor? on my miner alt (Caldari). I did have a Maller that could take out battleship rats in 0.0. Just for shits and giggles. /end eve-speak
