I did offer her to you, but you were undecided..

( besides, you're still working on the cafe racer.. and you got enough bikes at your place

)
she's going to live the rest of her days as my prized ride/show bike..
What a transformation, from trasher to treasure.. lovingly cleaned.. polished and shined.. every single nut and bolt.. it might take me forever, but once i started, i just couldnt stop..
Now, if only someone was prepared to do this to me - when i'm well past my 'used by' date
I know the entire history of this bike, and the last 2 previous owners.. and i can trace it back to new.. sounds like a pretty interesting show piece to me..
besides, it's not like i'm doing a monster garage on it.. and putting different bits off different types of bikes in there.. just doing body work, and a bit of a mechanical resto.. ( and upgrading that horrible monoshock, and suspension.. )
Everyone i've spoken to has been encouraging me on this, big props to billywhizz and joker for lending me an ear when i'm considering going the gas axe to overcome my frustrations.. especially to the boys over at ASF, they've been huge help with ideas.. suggestions and comments for panel work etc.. i hope to finish the bike within a reasonable time span, and to a reasonable budget.. ( so far, so good )
So, where would one pickup said ZX9 engine with low k's ? ( now that the 750 is out.. this could be a good project to match the new tail that's going on.. and the plans i have for an undertail exhaust... )
