if its not about money, they how about they do away with fines, and double the number of points you lose?
that way "dangerous" drivers doing 11km/h over the limit down a hill are off the road sooner, and "mr lower class" doesnt have to sit in his car fixated on the speedo for fear of not being able to afford to pay his rego on time
i have no probs with undercover cars being on the look out for stolen cars, or drink drivers, but when they sit 10km/h over the limit, and slap you with a fine for being 8km/h over, that just sux
halve the number of cops doing revenue raising, and get them to catch real criminals
then sell 3 quarters of the multinovas, and use the money to buy booze buses
i would bet my life that youd see less burgs, and less deaths
