i think we all know how hard it is when you are first starting out and need to get some good gear, but are unsure of what to get first if you can't afford everything. i myself faced the same problem, starting with the helmet (of course) before getting a proper jacket and gloves when finances permitted. heck, i wore ski gloves for most of winter just to keep out the cold/wet, before i could afford riding gloves.
anyhow, i thought tweeklz took my comment in the good humour that it was intended, if not, i apologise.
