The other thing to remember with the head-checks is to always check major driveways (like the 11ty billion on Gt. Eastern Hwy in midland) and in general anywhere that a car may pop out.
If there's a car in a driveway - head check it.
They're a little more demanding for the R class test, but if you've been on the bike every day, and had an hours lesson before hand (so you're used to the bike), anyone who can keep themselves calm shouldn't have a problem.
Hell, even start chatting to the examiner if you get stuck at lights.
