Cameron Stronach is settled in Italy, along with fellow rider Alex Lowes from England who is sharing the flat. Alex will be riding the Superstock 600 for Team O Six Kawasaki Supported 2008. Although the language barrier for the two lads has had its challenges along with the cultural differences they are getting along well.
Both boys had been given a few days to find their feet before they start their personal athletic training and Italian Language classes. The highlight so far is today Sunday 27th they were told they have been invited to dinner Saturday 2nd February with Max Biaggi. Talk about dreams come true…wow. More news on this and Cameron’s first weeks in Italy soon.
Max was in Australia testing on the 15th January in temperatures of 33 degrees preparing his new Ducati 1098 for the World Superbike Championship at Phillip Island in less than a month. A far cry from the Italian weather of around 12 degrees.
All the best to Cam on his 2008 campaign in Italy!!
