Do you have seperate high and low beam bulbs in the car? or are the high and low beam in the 1 bulb. If they are in the 1 bulb you can get what is called Bi-Xenon HID's which have both high and low beam together. This will only require 2 ballasts instead of 4.

If you have seperate high and low beams, i don't suggest you go with HID for high beam, they take time to warm up and hence don't work very well when used for flashing high beam (it's also bad for the HID bulbs).

I got mine from this place since most of the CBR guys said they were small size ballasts and good quality. Xenon Expert
Otherwise Ebay seems to have alot choice now.

yeah i know of the bi xenons, we bought some for lozzle & her RVR.

nah the car in question has like.. h7/h3's for high and low, meaning, i need 4 ballasts. i know of the lag between low and high, but meh. spose i could just leave the regular halogens in for high.

just looked like from the picture of your box with hid crap in it there was only one ballast there

cheers,

lee
