Smile Build your own - Exhaust Can Design

I just can't seem to find a slip on exhaust can that I like for the CB 1300 and so I thought I'd have a go at making my own. The only problem is finding sufficient technical information to do it. Any ideas would be appreciated. ATM I am looking at a back pressure of say 2-6 psi and a straight through flow with ceramic wool in the skin behind a stainless steel mesh or perforated sheet but really I have very little idea of what I am doing.

Key features should be 1. Small slip on 2. Improve BHP across the entire range with overall improvement of 10% min. 3. Noisy enough to be heard quiet enough to get away with it. 4. Deep base sound escalating to a lovely crackling scream..... Sounds like a girl I used to know.

Any ideas greatly appreciated - Not in any rush but would like to get it right first time.
