heh yep. its still going *sigh* but i am really only waiting for my offset sprocket to arrive and for the dude at Alyz engineering to come back from holidays now

thanks Lee, that first photo that shows the alignment and the clearance is exactly what i was looking for

Mike had already explained it to me.. because the clearance is quite tight the knuckle needs to be aligned parallel to horizontal- so it cannot swivel the shock backwards and hit the swingarm. However there is a clearance of a few mm, so i think it is possible to rotate that knuckle clockwise a little without smacking the shock on the swingarm.

edit: actually its not parallel to horizontal but rather parallel to the plane the shock is compressing in. thats exactly what i wanted to know
