This is how the assessors look at it:
"Young bloke.... Motorcycle.... Made a few small errors in the 1/2 hour I spent with him... Errors that could, in the worst case scenario, cause him to lose his life...... Hmmmm..... Should I give him the benefit of the doubt.....? Hmmmm.... Perhaps not."
In cases like yours I suggest "massive overkill" in the preparation for your test.
Also, get to the test centre AT LEAST an hour before your test. That way you can have a decent practice run/warmup and then return to the test centre with enough time left over for your nerves to settle before the assessor takes you out.
