I'm loathe to actually put my hand up there CG. I can't suggest somewhere to go, LPG conversion is such a cottage industry that companies come and go like sparks in a fire. It's hard to keep up with who's still kicking around. In a pinch, I can be caoxed into having a look at the tune of your vehicle if need be, as I still have all my exhaust emission diagnostic gear. I no longer have access to a dyno in WA though, so I can't do dyno-tuning anymore. (Plus I'm no longer a qualified gasfitter, I let my license lapse, so any fitting I actually did would need to be endorsed by a licensed gasfitter before it went over the pits.)
Sequential systems (which you should ALWAYS go for, if your car can support one) you're looking at roughly $3.5-$5k for the system. From what I last knew, there was a mass shortage of lpg tanks, and what once cost $300-$400, now go for around $1600. I'm unsure if this is still true.
With LPG systems, you get what you pay for, so to save you any heartache, buy the most expensive, technologically advanced system you can afford. Seriously, don't count your pennies with an LPG system. You'll only have problems.
Yeah, there is supposed to be an excise applied to LPG from '08 I thought, either that or '12. It was going to be something in the order of 4 cpl in the beginning, with an upward trend to 12 cents in following years.
EDIT: one last point. Most sequential systems injectors are designed for a euro market. This means the vast majority of kits are designed for sub 3.0L cars. Be warned before attempting to get a Sequential system for your 5.0L+ V8. You may run into underfuelling problems in the higher rev ranges. I'd hazard a guess Sprint Gas might have something from the US, but don't quote me on it, as they're not the pioneers of the LPG tech these days. Most kits are developed in EU, with Japanese collaboration.
