I'm curious as to how suddenly you can lose 20,000ft (6Km) of altitude, considering that a 747 cruises at about 30,000ft (10Km), short of going into a nose dive, unlikely, as it would probably need the last 4km of sky to pull out.
I know what a 14,000ft drop looks like, and feels like, without a plane around you.
A 20,000ft drop would require you to take at least one breath while screaming. Would have been one awesome experience though.
