Life as I knew it is all gone!

Well Dingo Fans , its been an action packed 20 or so days, where can I start?
Chronologically is too boring and main stream, so lets start from importance, which is more subjective and relative and please note if the last matter refers to you, it is still of great importance because I've mentioned it here .
I have a new Job! After losing out on a secondment to Vanuatu doing what I do now (Assistant Bank Manager) It gave me the chance to stop and realise that no matter where I went, I would still be banking and no longer enjoying it. So after <strike>an exhaustive quest</strike>, actually readers I wont lie, coincidence, fate, chance, good luck I found a position was going at a local motorcycle dealer specialising in Hondas, Aprilias and MV Agustas here in Ossie Park . I applied, worked through the normal application process and got the word that I was successful! . Big changes is almost an understatement as I leave multinational banking corporate life for a smaller business in the motorcycling industry. I am excited, but that is also set off by the general concerns one holds when starting something new and being at the bottom of a HUGE learning curve. Truth be told, I cant wait to get stuck in though.
Im heading off to the the Phillip Island GP in a couple of weeks . Was around at mum and dads for the weekly dinner a few weeks back (at least I get one proper meal a week ) and asked dad what he was up to on the GP weekend, he checked the calendar and 5 mins later was booking the plane tix with Qantas! We fly out thursday, stay with friends in melb that night then drive down to the island for Friday, stay at the Mornington penisula fri/sat/sun night and ferry across to cowes for the sat/sun. Got VIP Hospitality Tickets and will be organising a PSB shindig over the weekend. Ill probably run a series of PI Diaries right here too over the weekend with pixs so thats something you can look forward to.
The MAD Ride was just awesome! It amazes me the support and passion it has generated in the Perth motorcycle community and how everyone has stepped up to contribute towards supporting Shenton Park Rehab and the Reds Spinal Cord Lab. I dont know what the final figures will be, but there is no way I will miss the cheque presentations for this year as that is when I know we truly made a difference .
The vespas going great, really shouldnt ride it on a Double Demerits weekend though .
Blogged out for now friends. I start the new job after I get back from the Oz GP, be sure to call in and say hi
