The only thing i seem to collect and keep forever are the scars from work ie: cuts, burns all over my arms and body that now are showing up everywhere as i get older and my skin seems to get thinner.

Comics, Motorcyle racing paraphenalia (mainly posters etc), Motorcourse annuals, a Mario Bwana flyer autographed by Bob Marley's lead guitarist (junior marvin), two full cans of Duff beer and one empty.

i collect 5 cent coins

i have lots but haven't counted them
and i never will
because it wouldn't be a very high number since 5c coins aren't worth much

Platypus - Been collecting since 1989 when I saw some in the wild in Eungella National Park in Qld.

Oh shit- that sounds awful - I collect figurines and paintings etc, - glass, pottery, brass etc. not real ones!

Stamps years ago as a kid - still have the collection - up in the roof somewhere I think! Was even a member of the Philatelic Society in Adelaide (sounds so nerdy!!)

I collect broken footpegs from offs. No real reason behind it, other than dazedly picking up the first bit of Gixxer I saw after my crash at barbagellos for a memento, which happened to be a footpeg. Since then it's happened that when my kawasaki was written off the footpeg broke, which i also pocketed.

Add belt buckles to my list. Many years ago I was given this one:

About a year ago I bought a belt for it, deliberately too small to make me lose some weight. Now the belt fits (still got more to lose though. I guess I collect kilos too) and I decided to get a couple more buckles for it. These two arrived 10min ago:

I can see these things chewing through my savings already

can't see it in the photo, but the central part is just under an inch thick, the skull is actually 3D, and set under half an inch of that green enamel.
