I know plenty of people who's parents were in their teens when they were born.
If anything, there's LESS people popping out kids at an early age (or at all) now-adays, and our greying population reflects that fact.

Take a poll. 'Were you're parent's teens when they had their first child?'
(I expect a lot of the policy being written now is to cope with the lack of reproducing and aging population.)
Almost every country in the world, at most time periods throughout history, started 'breeding' asap.

I know 3 sisters who work at HJ's and have done for over 25 yrs now. They would all have superannuation, holidays, long service leave, sick pay, management positions, whatever. What's wrong with that? Is it job snobbery? They are extremely stable and financial. If you take pride in yourself, do what you do well, why should it be not good enough?
