Came across this 1918 Harley board tracker when riding today

It appeared to be getting tested for the first time.

It was beautifully restored, credit to the owner and the guys who worked on it.

Got to love these old engines with the open valve train etc.

Absolutely amazing. Would love to be there to see this thing fire up and go..

Watching that guy kick that motor over reminded me of when I was a kid, way back all them decades ago I was watching a member of an OMCG (Yer we even had them in Ireland) trying to start his big old Harley, anyway he got the stroke wrong and it sent him flying off the bike and busted his lower leg in a few places.. At the time a few people were falling about laughing at this big bearded bloke going flying until he tried to stand up and his leg folded.. Ahh funny how the mind works, I had totally forgotten about that incident

I've heard talk of these Harley riding hoodlums with their loud open pipes and drug-wasted ways. Do you think these young men are bikies?

That's amazing. Beautiful bike and beautiful sound. It sure does look uncomfortable though.
