    2009 Ninja 250r

Will this MGP GROWLER - KAWASAKI - XZ10R - ZX6R - ZX2R - ONLINE STORE - MotoDeluxe Australia fit on a 2009 Ninja 250r. Where you select for which bike you want it for, it says " zx2r " I assume that's it, but i have never referred and never heard anyone refer to them as a zx2r. They're also stupidly loud... I want one. haha

The 250r and zx2r are two different bikes.

Given that it seems like they have the year in the options, they are probably refering to the 250r though.

So you are probably safe to get it, despite the common belief that you should save your money for your big bike.

With an exhaust like that, it is safe to say you will both sound, and perform like a 600cc.

Like the 600cc motor on my genset maybe it makes a lot of noise but doesn't go anywhere.

I took a test ride of a Ninja with the same exhaust just before I bought mine. Sure, it was loud, but it definitely didn't sound good. Each to their own I guess

What's happened to the good old days of emailing the seller and asking if it would fit. That way u have a fall back if it doesn't and you know for certain.

Once again this thread has popped up. Do what you want, or as its been put in the past, "do whatever gives you the biggest boner". If you have the funds for it, a mere 3 - 400 bucks wont make a difference when you come to upgrade.

I had a GPX 250, same motor as the Ninja 250R. I bent one pipe over to the other, welded them to a two into one. Took the baffles out of one factory muffler, and welded that on. Whalla' ... Single sided 250 screamer. I dont care what ppl say, wet fart, buzz buzz, whatever. Loud bikes are cool -Simple

Yes, but i still have a year before i get my R's so spending 400 bucks on a pipe for a 250 is nothing...I wouldn't mind some noise rather than stock..And it looks sexy haha

Its not about the amount of noise, its about the quality.

I like the way this thread has gone from "Will this fit my bike?" to "Why shouldnt i fit this to my bike?".

Do what you like dude, some people will say dont spend money on a 250, but you are the one that has to ride it for 12 months (or longer) so do whatever you like to it to make it the way you want.
And if you buy it, put it on, and it sounds shit, there will no doubt be another young guy with a 250r that will buy it from you.

Well, i'm going to get it i just wanted to make sure it fit. I don't mind the sound of it, all though i have only ever heard it on Youtube. Which we all know you can't get any better sound than in person..So if i think it sounds good on YOutube, then i should sound even better in real life one would assume. And that's true Twinkles. If i don't like it, on goes the stock exhaust up goes the pipe for sale.

Before you buy some loud thing that does not fit.

Consider Biohazard cycles, (Tom is great to deal with) you can get an Akra, Vince, Hindle Jardine etc that are quality (or other cheaper brands like TB or Yoshi etc) and come with an insert to make them reasonably quiet and are designed for the bike for $300- 500 landed to your door.
