Find some 22mm nuts and a bolt, and lock them together, and use a spanner on it.
If cleanliness is next to godliness, why was jesus a dirty sandal-wearing beardo?
How odd. Can you take a picture? What bike is it?
Spoiler: show
we tried that sam..but its next to impossible to find a 22mm head bolt. they have 20 and 24..but as luck would have it no 22.
22mm = 7/8"
I've got one , SOR, kardinya
There are two questions in life.
1:Which way do I go
2:Whats the lap record.
If you can wait a week an a bit I've got impact ones that go to that size
Ive also got a home made one if you run into any dramas.
just tried to reply your pm D.J but your inbox is full!
If you can find an M14 bolt and nut from a proper fastener supplier (eg Coventry/Sweetman etc) that has a 22mm hex head A/F.
Likewise a 1/2" heavy or structural bolt has 7/8 AF.
Here's a useful reference Bolt Markings

A lot of bikes have this set up. Depending on what kind of bike you got, check it out on yours...
I assume you have left the axle pinch bolts tight before you tried to losen the axle nut? Have you got a pic of the nut or at least, what kind of bike is it? I got some tools here to do the job, if you get stuck.

The outside of my spark plug socket that comes with the bikes tool kit fits my front nut
The hex part of some sparkplug sockets also fit.

$34.95 delivered and they are usually pretty quick. Might be worth grabbing one for future use.
