    720p HD glasses whilst riding

Anyone played around with glasses while riding, instead of a gopro?

if they are cheap then they wont compair. if they arnt cheap then they probably arnt worth the price , i got a bunch of HD cameras off ebay and the likes for motorcycle videoing and they wouldnt last. the only bad thing "for me" with the go pro is that it has no zoom function , but its an action cam so its not ment to.

with the new gopro hero 2 out now the first ones will be alot cheaper.

Sounds like a fun way to record interactions with cops roadside though.

I have the GoPro HD it's just a pain to get everything sorted out before a ride etc...

Glasses are bam and on, where you look you record!

So I ordered some glasses, not too cheap and the record quality doesn't look to shabby, see how it goes, I reckon they would be fun (if they work) for numerous situations

^^ I'll second that. Borrowed one for my trip to S.A. and found it incredibly easy to set up and use.
Do you have a link to these glasses? I'm kinda curious

Im curious to see if any of these glasses are slim line / comfortable enough to wear under the helmet without discomfort, and if they are able to film through a visor without glare/refelctions etc.
A quick look on ebay showed that most have fairly bulky arms, making them pretty impraticle to wear under a tight fitting helmet.

also keen to links on the one you have ordered, could be handy for Mountain biking!

I did find these afterwards, but they don't come with an MicroSD card so you would have to purchase as well. Looks like the same specs as the $$$ one

Yep they were the style i found on Ebay too. Looks to me like the arms will be too big to fit comfortaby within a full face helmet, but keen to see how they go!

Pretty cool, couldn't see how long they record for in the info though

EDIT: Found it in second link - 2.5 hours recording per 3 hour charge

They don't look close to 720p video.

    Support 30 fps for 640 x 480
I bought a clip on cam for $12 off ebay once and now it sits at the bottom of a drawer, useless tatt. You get what you pay for.
