Would have to agree on the comments on the GOR great road, I did it back in the early 90's before all the extras went in. I would also have to say that some of the best roads that I have ridden on are definately in the east. Reafton and Black Spurr, Oxley Hwy NSW, yes the hills outside of Adelaide heading to Birdswood, the back roads from Port Augusta down through the Claire Valley for some fast sweeping bends just what you need to warm up after riding the Nullabour. There is also some very good roads up around Bathurst through to the Blue Mountain and if you like mountain roads head from Batesman Bay up over the Snowys but watch for the boys in blue. So if anyone is heading that way you should do your home work as there is roads over there that are worth the effort once you are there.

i'm going to Denmark with a few mates over the weekend. If there are any decent roads anybody knows of could you maybe PM me where they are or something if that's cool? And i'll then consider taking the bike down?

In Adelaide, before i had i bike, though i did have a datto, norton summit (old and new), lobethal, anything in the hills, so much there.

Was just skiing at Mt Hotham, and couldn't help but think how wicked the alpine rd would be during summer, endless twisties.

WA has some nice roads, but for every 50m of nice stuff here, there's ten times that over east.

    Bastards...
Now I know how God feels, when he rides a Ducati.

Having been there ... done that, Horrocks pass is good, but the amount of crap on the road makes it a little "interesting"
There is no such thing as absolute control, only a variable level of lack of control.

Hey Jackdaniel Horrocks Pass you have to love that 1st corner and how it tightens up on itself, could get caught out if your not watching what is going on put it only gets better from there. Another Great Section of Road.
