This isn't in any way a slight on your 998, but I don't think the crowds at a show with "3 on 3 street ball" will understand or appreciate it.

I'm sorry but it's just "not as sick as the R1 their mate has".

I haven't heard of this through my Hotrod sources, sounds like it will be a Falcodore and Ricer crowd.

The one with TV's in the side panels and a dual purpose fish tank / fuel tank.

Organised by the fine people at PimpIndustries? Yeah, I'll stay home.

Did you make it to Big Al's, I noticed it was a bit more restrictive this year?

Its been restrictive the last couple years, nothing over 1978 i think is allowed to enter unless its an american muscle car.

Best thing they have done at Big All's Poker run!
Got rid of the ricers, crappadores, daddo's and other "modern" stuff!
Motorvation has gained them as the classic cars were avioding this "party" for a while now!

Yep i agree, makes it more enjoyable to view and since its happened alot of the nicer classics have come back. Theres always the ACE Ford cruise for the late models stuff. Im over Motorvation for this same reason it used to be good now its just too full on.....

I agree to. I've been going to Big Al's for years and that year a few back where they let the ricers in was the worst event I had attended. They would even have stupid things like stock VL commonwhores and a stock EA falcon. Not what I want to see at an event like Big Als.

I'll be giving the one in the OP a miss to, sounds like a heap of 16-21 year olds wearing skin tshirts and backwords baseball caps talking about how great their new BOV is.

Agree that this is the best thing to happen to the show in many years. Last time I entered before boycotting I almost had some Falcodore rear end my Superbee at a set of lights while he was doing a burnout. Stopped entering after that.

If I had a car I'd take it along again now though!

A couple of years ago I went to the Donut Derelicts get together in Huntington Beach. These hot rod enthusiasts have been meeting informally at a donut store car park for decades. There was a couple of hundred rods there. Very cool. Interestingly the only people being dickheads and doing burnouts when they left were a couple of Aussies in GTHOs.
