Had a dream run to work this morning, not one traffic light and a bit of splitting filtering Reed Tonkin Highway and GEH, 32 km in 23 min = 83.5 avg
Normal time 30 min = 64 kmh.
Lucky the speed limit on Tonkin is 90 so at least i was not speeding![]()

-- I have the world's sexiest bike --
My bike is nameless...i hate that
Btw, my name is alex![]()
I'm pretty close to work so takes me less than 10 mins to get to work, and maybe 10-14min max on the way home.
I usually get from canning vale to hyatt business centre (when i was working in the perth office), east perth in about 15 minutes ish, 60km/h zone up albany hwy...
Have done it in 18 minutes before, not speeding when stopping at BP to put air in tyres.
In the cage, same time of day, takes me 45 minutes+![]()
stuff

Best run time 33 mins![]()
girrawheen - hamilton hill 25 mins.
6 mins...... must find a different way to work![]()
Takes me around 45mins (Kelmscott to West Perth)
Going to work is a LOT easier than returning home
According to Whereis, it is only 39km, BUT also according to Whereis, to go the way they suggest would take me through line after line of traffic.

30kays in about 23-25 min, hepburn to applecross. Strait down the freeway in rush hour
20mins approx from Kelmscott to Carlisle and about 25-30mins home (in the cage)
25 kays in 35 minutes usually.
On the bike.
Vic Park to AppleCross around 15 minutes. ~10 kms. The lights on canning Hwy are shit, get stuck at every single one every freaking day
Well when i map it out with Whereis is says:- Travel 21.89 km, Est. Time 32 mins
Running in this morning, with traffic more abundant than normal (??) and just about every Red light between Duncraig and Adelaide Tce (not via freeway), it still only took me 20 minutes.
Average speed of 66k.... luckily most of it is 70k's
Probably good going for midland.
Side Note
[RANT] I believe midland is the worst suburb to ride/drive in, Know one seems to know in advance how the roads work in the area, the amount of times i have been close to an accident when someone jumps from the right hand lane because OMG someone wants to turn is astonishing.[/RANT]
