Heh heh not what some of you think are thinking at all,

On the Good Friday Nannup run Some people were confronted with the problem of getting home late with the ol' tinted visor. I ride just about everyday because I have to get to work, lately I use a tank bag and pack my clear visor in that to switch later when it gets dark. Why? Why not have the clear in all the time and just wear sunnies? Cause I F&*kin' hate wearing sunglasses under my lid, they shit me. They move around when I turn my head I feel they are reducing my field of vision. I hate'em, I hate'em, I hate'em!

Enter the solution... (edit: there should be a pic here I have no idea why it's not showing up? link instead perhaps)

They are shooting shields for protection whilst firing a rifle what have you, the good part is You can buy them in different colours,I got yellow cause i want them for night time. They wrap around nicely, These particular ones don't obstruct your field of view in any way, you can see the only frame part is way to the sides where the arms are attached and with fine/thin arms they sit nicely inside your helmet.
Full wraparound protection with plenty of standoff to prevent fogging. A perfect pair of intermediate <strike>shooting</strike> Night riding glasses, Beretta Shields meet CE and ANSI standards for impact as well as IR and UV protection. Delivered in an armored case with color-matching zipper tab and microfleece storage and cleaning bag.[/b]
For some one who hates wearing sunnies or glasses whilst riding I reckon they do the job perfectly, and are a nice solutionj to the ol' tinted visor at night predicament as they are a bit easier to carry in a compact space than a spare visor. I thought it was a good Idea so I got a pair, Just thought I'd share. These ones cost $50.

I also hear stealing Bolle' saftey sam glasses from local mates workshop is a good solution.

Country riding is mostly what I'm referring to, riding to Perth from Collie with your visor up Isn't much fun. And save you carrying a bag If you just want to do a day trip and like me hate wearing sunnies under your visor.

Any safety glasses would be good but I find these are particularly good. And a nice item to have tucked away if you frequently find yourself out later than you planned to be.

I have only done it once, and didn't do it on the Nannup run. But I have found that a spare visor fits neatly around your ribs under your jacket and is not at all uncomfortable.

I don't like wearing sunnies under my lid for the same reason as Millsy and no matter what type even in a minor spill they lead to a lot of claret being lost due to a cut on the bridge of the nose or eyebrow.
The time I stuffed a visor into my jacket I knew I would be riding into the night and didn't want to carry a bag.

Worked for me

It's better to be thought stupid than open your mouth and remove all doubt

Pure speed in sixth gear on a 5,000 foot straightaway is one thing, but pure speed in third gear on a gravel-strewn, downhill, ess turn is quite another.

Oxford Spares make a noice little belt style thing for carrying your visor like that But In Summer I found It just makes me sweat like a Mofo.

Interestingly when I stacked it on my first 250 I had a nice little gouge in the plastic which covers the bridge of my nose. My visor was ripped clean off very quickly during the Crash as well. I agree glasses On a bike aren't that great anytime. But It's not the reason I dislike them.

No one has made a visor using the variable tinting yet?
Some of the fancy Euro exotic cars have it all round. Adjust a dial from clear to limo-dark.
