Bike Transport - Adelaide to Perth

    Hi Guys,

My mate is moving over from SA and wants to have his bike transported over. I would imagine a few guys here would have had bikes transported from/to interstate and I am interested to know what companies are recommended.

    Cheers!

I had my bike moved from Perth to Melbourne and i used Auto Trans and was very happy

To return my bike im using Fergussons

Bike transportation will be very slow atm because they are still having issues with the train line in SA. Bring back my bike from Melbourne will take 1 month FML
Funny enough, I was just talking to my friend about that. Our speedometer has melted and as a result it's very hard to see with any degree of accuracy exactly how fast we were going.

I had one transported from adelaide to Katherine in the NT late last year and used Bikesales | motorcycles & motorbikes @ BikeNUT.com.au, and couldn't have been happier with them. Cost about $800 door to depot (similar distance adl to perth so I'd expect a similar price, or perhaps cheaper if you can get it dropped to the depot in Adelaide). Didn't require fluids to be drained, was perfectly crated and have full comp insurance. Was the cheapest of four or five quotes that I got too.

www.bikesonly.com.au will move it from Adel to Perth for about $550 in a week or so.

I have heard horror stories about auto trans but nothing but good experiences with bikes only
Men have motorcycles while women have mensutral cycles, you can't talk to either while they are on it. The women's also has a sound, it goes nag-na-nag-nag-nag, biiiiiitch-bitch-biiiiiiiitch!

    Hey
my brother recently moved over east. My only advice is be very anal when asking about quality of the move, as well as how the bike will be handled.
By poor bro got a few "unavoidable" scratches & nicks he's not happy with.
    good luck

if you can be bothered going to the effort of crating the bike youll find it will be cheaper to transport and if you pack it well you should get the bike back in the same condition it went in. i used northline (www.northline.com.au) to get a quad in a crate from sydney to perth for about $600

If you make it strong enough it will come back untouched. Used mine for Europe and Tassie.
