lol as im new with bikes hehe just wondering if you all can tell me where to park etc.

as im use to driving a car, i came up to the car park near entertaiment center yesterday n drove up as a car would LOL then took a token n parked. but yeah luckly the guard there was a dood n showed me where i was supose to go n took the token off me without paying hhahahaha awsome

but yea just wondering where to park say like, in the cpp (city) where to go, etc. n shopping centers like carousel, garden city, etc. do they have a section for bikes? or do i just park in the car bay??

You can park almost anywhere, jsut check where all the other bikes are parked. Only some spots in da city are they making you pay for parking now.

hmmmmmmm on carousel shoppin center, u know in the main entrance how theres the big "bump" on the road for crossing then it connects into a sorta "path way" for ppl to walk down untill the end?? dunno if u get what i mean....
but r u allowed to park there?? coz i've seen ppl park there n stuff....

n on the second floor, ppl parking right infront of the entrance........

yup.... park there all the time ... just do it dude .. just dont block off the path completely when u do .. they get a bit annoyed when u do ..

Gankas, generally no, you're not supposed to park on footpaths, unlike some of the eastern states. But hey, the road conditions are fully shithouse over there, so they deserve a little compensation.

However, Council's have a big say in what goes on in their vicinity so parking rules change a bit from place to place.

In the city you got a few motorcycle bays on william st, quite a few on murray and hay st. And its all free. West perth u got heaps everywhere too.

If your going to park in the city, there is an empty, poled-off area just off Barrack St where I ALWAYS park when Im at work. If you go down Barrack St and just before you get to the intersection of Barrack St and Wellington St there is a little alley-way you turn left down. Go down for about 10metres and turn right to pull into the area.

You dont have to worry about cars 'accidentally' knocking your bike over co's they cant get in there. You only have to worry about all the junkies that use that alley to shoot up But I havent had any probs in there so far.
