bringing a bike to Perth

Hi guys,
New to Perth, and no surprise im sure, i've moved here from Auckland! Back in NZ i still have a 2006 GSXR600 which I brought crashed and fixed up. It is 99.9% finished and was going to be reregistered here! Basically the equivalent of taking something over the pits here however I ran out of time. Now that I have decided I want to stay in Perth I want to know three things.

1) How much approximately would I be looking at to ship it over to Perth from Auckland
2) How much would I be taxed by WA upon the bikes arrival
3) How hard would it be to get the bike legal here, given that it has been but is not currently registered at home

Might be easier, and I would almost certainly say cheaper, to flog it off on TradeMe and buy a bike here. I sold my bike in Auckland and bought another one here. Bike prices are pretty comparable, but you're going to save ~$1500 minimum in shipping, + another couple of hundred in engineering cert / pits / registering etc. YMMV though.
