There seems to be a fair few people on the list who dig cafe racers, so i thought i start a cafe'd thread. I didnt think deej would stretch to Cafe Racers sub sectionbut this should do for now.

I have told him to join psb. JOIN RICHIE!
Coool, i;ve been reading his webby, lotsa cool stuff there and his w650 is gonna look pretty neat by the time its finished![]()
I'm building one at the moment from a '79 Yamaha Triple XS750. Parts on their way and things are being painted at the moment. I'll get some progress pics up when stuff starts happening.
Already rebuilt the motor and polished/painted/detailed it. Bored out using XS850 pistons, new bearings etc, head work, h/d clutch
Starting with this -
I think for now I can get away with making a 2 seater cafe racer until I figure out something for a single seat
but lets just see how it all turns out
:p
coool, paint it orange and you can have your own laverda on the cheap
ps quite a few places do fibreglass single seat conversions
Cool, I'll look forward to seeing all the pictures that appear in this thread!
If I wasn't so keen on Bobbers right now, I'd definitely be tackling a Cafe Racer.
Don't forget to checkout the bikes from Deus
Deus Ex Machina
this guy does some brillant stuff with CB750, very neat work

Hondo!!Oh wait hangon, it does say Honda.
Hi Guys,
Davey I've finally pulled my finger out and jumped on PSB. Hey Corks...glad to see someone is reading my Blog.
I've ordered my tank and seat from France which should arrive in about a month. Most of my parts are coming from Deus (Syd) and Vanem (Melbs). I've just spent 5the weekend reiwiring the front end of the bike. Swapping the bars for clip-ons has been a mammoth job. I originally throught it was going to be one of the easiest parts of the project.
Here's a pick of the tank and seat combo I'm getting from VD Classics (France). When they arrive the bike will be ready to go on the road but will be far from finished.
