Hi gang.

I'm a member of a few boards around the internet.

PSB is the most unique board I visit purely due to the fact that we are from diverse backrounds (like most boards) with a common interest (hopefully like most boards) but the vast majority of us share the same geographical location.

This presents one of the best dynamics I've experienced on the internet albeit with some unique problems for us, the moderators, admins and staff members.

Some forums I visit have an instant permanent ban for any breach of rules or board etiquette.

Hopefully here at PSB you feel free to enjoy what I would consider a pub like atmosphere which means while the majority of the forum is not suitable for children, we should all feel comfortable to say what we feel and post our opinions about subjects at hand.

I'm not a wowser and do not consider colourful language or jocular posting between friends to be an issue, however here in lies the problem.

In general we need to keep the board free from racism, illegal material, child pornography and hateful or inciting comments.

If you see a post you don't feel is appropriate (in the atmosphere of a pub-like environment) please feel free to report the matter to our moderation team for us to deal with.

I encourage intelligent debate about the myriad of subjects PSB covers. However, we will not tolerate an on-going and petty argument between members who are not able to control themselves on this forum.

Help us make PSB a great place to visit for both motorcycle related topics and popular issues our members want to dicuss.

The OP is a well-worded and highly reasonable proposition.

That's why I feel it's a bit of a waste to have the only copy stickied here, and not also in the YYY section which also has high traffic - and on which some days the entertainment and distraction is top-shelf, while on others its best use is some kind of cautionary tale of ettiquite and self-management

The idea that each of our eleventy billion members will reside within GBT on the basis that this is a motorcycle forum, seems a tad optimistic.
