Cops chase bike, cops abort chase, bike crashes, and some Nandos loving...

Couldn't post this in news flash so will do it here.

About 2030 last night was just leaving home to get Nandos (mmmmm Nandos) just as I was pulling out of my street a CBR250 goes past at 80-100 with cops right behind him. I was going the same direction so figured I would see if I could see anything happening, got 100 meters up the road and saw the cop car coming the other way with no lights on (aborted chase) I figured that was it but as I came up to a round about saw the bike on the side and dude on the ground. We pulled up to help as he had obviously only been down for 10-20 seconds. There were several woman hanging round on their cell phones, as my flatmate and I got out of the car we asked if he was breathing, how his pulse was ect, to which they replied "we haven't checked" (this made me f*&^ing rage) cause if he was in a bad way he stood no chance with these morons yelling on their cell phones and gossiping about what happened. Anyway we administered first aid and all in all he was alright. Then it got funny, he was out cold and woke up with a gasping breath then proceded to ask us to help him stash the bike and to let him up, which wasn't going to happen in case he had a neck injury, that and the fact he was a moron who had obviously spent very little time on a bike. So cops show up just before ambulance, first cop gets out of car and calls him a f*&^ing idiot who almost crashed 4 times before eventually coming off. Gave cops details, they thanked us for helping restrain him and we got Nandos. All in all an exciting evening.

Do these fuckheads really expect anyone to believe that the car / bike crashed seconds after they aborted the chase EVERY FUCKEN TIME????? I would have had someone looking out for the cops to arrive, and the rest of the bystanders helping the biker on his way ( unless he was a meth / crack head ). Fuck the cops and their bullshit arse-covering " the chase had been aborted 0.000000001 seconds before the bike crashed". And they wonder why they don't have the public's support or respect.

What you have written strikes me as not quite adding up from the cops' side of things. They were chasing the guy at 80-100, right behind him ( not 500 metres back ), then 100 metres up the road you see them coming back up the road all cool lights off nothing to see here. That's some braking and u turn effort and calm down from that speed in that distance on a suburban street. So they head off back to the donut store. What made them then turn around again and resume the original path of the chase to find the biker down?? Shouldn't they have abandoned the chase, but continued to proceed after the bike at level speeds in case he comes off / slows down 'cos he thinks they've given up / runs out of gas / whatever??

Nice touch that they showed their professionalism buy calling him a fucking dickhead too. Sweet job guys

Yes I have, so yes i do.

And I can't think of a good reason as to why he ran, so yeah i'll jump to what i think is a safe conclusion.

I of course was kidding with the neck thing, but can't help at think he earnt those consequences.
