Came across a little store at Freo market (between the fresh fruits and other stuff section of the market) that sells Mexican hot sauce.... bought one sauce that would go down very well with Nandos, and would put the Nandos hot sauce to shame

Ahhh all of Nandos sauces are shameful - in respect to heat.

Sure they are tasty but they aren't hot. Im not trying to be a hero but their extra hot is mild to medium at best. The annual Freo Chill Festival is where its at and many a nice hot sauce can be had there if you're into that thing. Back to Nandos, the chicken I find juicy 80% of the time.. but the burgers are usually drier than a nun's..

Went to nandos with a mate who had never had it, i ordered for him, half chicken meal extra hot, hehehe...
He ate the whole fucking meal! I felt so bad.

Work mate brought in some of his home grown chilli yesterday.

^ It's the 'Fatalii' one, 12th one down from top. He cut it up into about 4mm thick rings and offered it around to the chilli guys. Now I'm not really much of a chilli guy but thought that I'd give it a crack so in my mouth it went.

OH FUCK OH FUCK HOT HOT HOT! PAIN, MORE PAIN, EYES WATERING, NOSE RUNNING, TONGUE ON FIRE, OWW THAT FUCKING HURTS! HOT HOT HOT!!!

Yer it was well above my comfortable tolerance. He's also got some of the 'Trinidad Scorpions' on the go which he says will be ready pretty soon. 2nd from the top on that list, 10++ heat.

No way am I trying those unless it's in a meal.

The chilli festival is where it's at . Pint of chilli beer and a bucket of chips cleansed my tastebuds.
