    disc locks

i have found in FAL balcatta a lock with a swipe card that has a coated wire rope that is meant for push bikes.

it makes and excellent disc lock and the "rope" is long enough to reach the handle bars and wrap around.

the price is a massive $1.50 they are clearing them... were $19.00

if anyone interested will see if they have some left tomorrow

    Thanks Craig,

The only problem with Gonzo using one regardless of colour is the "effort factor" !!! It would mean he had to unlock his seat reach in and remove the lock then bend down and attach it then replace his seat and walk away only to have to do all this again on returning to the bike.....

Way too much hard work for a 17year old

But I will try and preach some sence into him

P.S. I can square you up tonight at the Brass Monkey for the locks.

If you don't mind grabbing an extra 2 today I can fix up tonight as well.

At a huge $1.50 they'll be good just to have as something to secure the helmets to the bike.

Yes I know which one you guys are talking about.

The only problems with them is that if you lose ur card...be prepare to get the bolt cutters.

And i think the cards are pretty easy to break if you dont treat them with care, then again i think you get 2 cards.

Im sure the keys are hard to make....get old plastic card and punch the some holes in correct position.

But they are cool locks anyway...too bad they are floucesent *spelling* in colour.

    Nice find Craig.

Craid showed to me last night and they are pretty good for the price.

You could cut thru them with a heavy pair of wire cutters I would think but it would sure stop the oportunist from just takinga shot at nickn it without any gear.

Lets face it, as was shown to me a couple of months ago, if they want it, they will take it no matter the security.

So on the eight day, after wasting time faffing about with unimportant guff like heaven & earth & the waters & sky & creatures [& having a wee kip] & man.... God created PSB (GenesiSX-R1000)
