You can't see whats behind the cameraman in the second one, it might be a corner. So the van may of stopped when he saw the rider appear around the corner. Looked like the rider only put the brakes on when he got within 10 metres of the van even though the van had already been accross the line for a few seconds.

the 2nd one looks like to me some mates where trying to film the first bike coming around the corner (get some footage an pics for brag factor?) dude in the van was trying to turn into the road where they were all standin (didnt check ahead properly), yes he stuffed up but in reality may not have happened if they werent all standin there

+1 to that. Coming from a future paramedic point of view, thats just not right. Unless as Liquidity said, he did some pretty serious offences for that. But then again if he was that dangerous, i'm sure the cops from that country would be pointing guns at him jus to maintain their own safety.

Sure, the driver fucked up.. But how fast was the bike going?
Avoidable at road legal speeds I'm guessing.

Not nice to see, but not 100% the driver's fault here IMO.
