    electric rewinds

Is anyone in the business of rewinding armatures or know of anyone that may be able to rewind a burnt out armature?

I did my first bike (an old JamJar IT175) by hand!

Simply counted the number of winds off, measured the wire diameter, bought a real of that, set up a little "spit roast" jig thingy and wound the new wire back on... Worked a treat.

Took about 5 hours sitting infront of the TV, but as a poor student I had the time and saved myself about $250!
