    F*%$, my shits airborne....

Was in collie a week or so ago for a few laps and some nice country roads when coming over a rise of a hill a bit to quick, I felt my stomach lurch up and down. I thought to myself "a bit faster and I'll probably get airborne." Without thinking, Lined up for round two with a bit more pace and fully launched the 919 CBR probably only 400mm high, but for about 5meters FREEKING AWESOME ADRENALINE RUSH!!!

Would never purposely do that again (Maybe)

When Have you had your shit airborne?

    Directly or Accidentally?

Only Roadies because our shits not men't to fly...

ahh 7th ave bridge. I was a passenger in a Supra that tried a Dukes of Hazzard impersonation there, it shook a bit and he nearly lost the front bumper

Had a Gemini airborne through an intersection when I was getting about $8.80 change from a tenner (Hai Barfy ) On a private road on my uncles farm of course.

Hit a 12 ft. high mulch pile shaped into a tabletop jump while cracking 3rd on a KTM 450 out back of a mates place after a few cans of dutch courage. Managed to land it but bailed off the bike before it went off the side of the tabletop and into the grape vines With no dirt bike experience, how that didn't end in complete disaster is beyond me.

Tried the same tabletop on an old Honda 110cc three wheeler and discovered the disadvantage of not having suspension. Ouch.

After the front of the mulch pile was re-shaped into a gentler slope with less height on the ramp I watched another mate in a Suzuki Sierra have a crack at it, the thing was getting almost a metre of air before landing, bottoming out the suspension and bouncing back into the air again Also sat passenger for a couple of those flights.

    Flight is fun.

    Speedhumps. Many, many speedhumps.

Unfortunately the backlash on landing disagrees (apparently) with big-end bearings.

it ok i suppose. but there used to be a culvert further north of there that has been levelled now, seemed a bit more vicious cos of the approach angles, if one were to hit it at excessive speeds it could cause some excitement. i hit it one day at a speed considered by most authorities to be excessive, no idea how much air, but when i landed the front end just came up...and up....and up till i thought i was going to flip it, then gradually went back down again after what seemed like an hour or so. record time from serpentine to bayswater of somewhere around 35 minutes for me that morning

the aforementioned culvert allegedly claimed a v8 xb falcon's scalp by knocking out the sump plug when it landed
