Take the *really damn obvious* warning labels off everything...

Edit:
The guy should sue yamaha, the tape maker, and the baby seat maker, as I'll bet there was no "warning, not to be duct taped to the back of an R6" label on any of those things...

if that was the case i wouldn't be here. my mother was the mother from hell.

i think licenses for kids are the way to go.[/b]
Almost every time I see something as stupid as this prick, or anybody generally mistreating their offspring through pig-ignorance, I mutter something about wishing there was a license to breed.

Then I remember that we can't legislate morality, and that there's a lot of great people that wouldn't be kicking around today if that was the case.

I think deep rooted stupidity is part of the human condition, I'm not sure how we can fix it.

There are all ready so many problems in this world due to people not taking the responsibility for their actions. The more freedom of choice you take off people, the less capable they are of making choices with that they have control over. At least, thats how it seems.
It's all about consequence and responsibility. take away those, and for a lot of people theres no reason not to just do whatever they damn well feel like.

In regards to the kids in some sort of pannier device on a bike. imagine what would happen to the kid in a highside. or if a car went into the side of the bike?
really anywhere something like that could be mounted, would be a protrusion from the bike, and would thus take the brunt of any impact where the bike hit the ground.

edit: found this about babies and pushbikes : http://www.bicyclesource.com/body/safety/f...g-infants.shtml
No amount of genius can overcome a preoccupation to detail.

Nah, duct taping the kid to a gear-rack would be better. If they get cold in winter, just get an undertail exhaust...
