Favourite Routes!

Used to have this thread on a forum I used in the UK and I can't find anything similar on here, was quite good to have! Basically any particular road you enjoy and think others will too, highlight it on a map and post it up! Be it a 50km ride through the hills or a nice stretch of corners. Please do note though, as it may be blindly obvious to some more than others, that the less 'legit' routes are best kept to yourselves as I hear a lot about the cops stalking this forum! The general idea is that people (like me, who know absolutely NO fun roads) can refer to this for plans of a route for a ride!

Hopefully this thread takes off and we see some nice routes come along!

Yeah I also thought this, but surely they can't/wouldn't bother to stake out and/or refer to every post on this thread?

Better to organise or go to a ride and get the routes that way mate, not too many people are happy to give out the SS routes, as mentioned the popo like to trawl...

Many a day/night ride has been spoilt by advertising good stuff on the net! Goes for car cruises as well!

Your right, they would probably only stake out the threads where people post up their favourite routes.

Fair enough, in my eyes there would be too much time put into it for what its worth to the police but as its happened before, never mind! Quite sad that the police target vehicle users this much to be honest. Maybe we should just create a fake thread where we post BS routes that we would never ride, throw them off our scent a bit! lol

Well the layout hasn't changed, but they have put a "Special" pits in that the V8's are only cool enough to use, and they are allowing people to see the whole track. So this is still my favourite route!

And yes, I do swerve all over the place like a mad man! haha

So the Phase 1 - 3 development of Barbs doesn't change the track? I thought turn 1 was killed off

They're some pretty unsual lines through turn 1, the lefty and the basin .

I spent a few years throwing a S13 sideways around the track, and at first, that would have been my exact route!

We all wait with anticipation to see if they will actually proceed with the suggested Phase 2-3. As always they will do only what is neccesary to keep the V8's here.
