Anyone know some good new bike dealers who are happy to let R learners ride there big stuff?
Five Star Yamaha (Hammie Hill) and Mack 1 (Midland)shouldmay let you test ride. Just be prepared to sign a rather large insurance waiver for some places - used to be an extra 1K on top of the normal excess 2k at some places...
so u have to pay them temporary for a ride on there bikes?
Nope. You have to sign a form (in some instances) to say that if you bend it you spend for it. No one is going to charge you for a test ride.

nice coz im interested in buyoing big bike but im goin to buy without riding first. sur ei bought my ninja 250r without riding but i didnt really care coz it was my r-e bike so wasnt to fussed but now shoppin for big bike i want to test ride before buying coz theres so many to choose from

North City Motorcycles was really good when I went. Just had to fill out and sign a form and one of their shop guys came out with me.

My advice: Be very careful.
The R1 will beat your Ninja 250's top speed without changing out of first gear.
yamaha in joondalup told me they would happly let me test ride one of there bikes on my ls as long as i dont come at a peak time so early during the week
Sweet I had no idea you could test ride on R learners. Should I take a shadow for the occasion or do the shop guys tag along with you?
