Unhappy Gloves Filling With Water :(

Rode 100km home yesterday in the nasty part of the weather wearing my dririder jacket and gloves, only to have my gloves completely fill up with water once it started to get heavy

What's going wrong here? Gloves are Dririder Storm's, they're supposed to be all waterproof and shiny and stuff
    Cheers in advance.

Buy the biggest pair of dish washing gloves you can find and put them over your gloves for long rides in the rain...

    Pink ones look nice...

    +1 for what Rich said.

I had to do something similar for my boots before, of course it was plastic bags and not gloves Amazing what works when you need it to

Are you wearing the Jacket cuffs over the gloves? If not, then the water will always run down into the gloves.

+1 for what Sam said. I normally put my gloves on over my jacket cuffs - when it rains the water will run down your arms into the gloves, so cuffs over the top and it'll just run off.

Most shoe stores will sell a rub on or spray on compound for sealing leather boots - give this a shot. Also, +1 with the other suggestion - make sure you pull the cuffs of your sleeves over the gloves, not under.

ohk. i'll try wearing em the gloves under the cuffs of my jacket once my gloves dry out... i thought of trying that but the jacket sleeves are already ducks-bum-tight without anything underneath :\

on that note, the feckin things smell when they get water in them after they dry out.. any solutions to that?
Rich, please don't recommend dishwashing liquid -.-

I believe you have been wearing your gloves inside-out, therefore all the water that is usually outside becomes inside.

Seriously though, the waterproof, breathable liner seems to be very fragile, so unless you always take those gloves off very carefully it becomes increasingly likely that the liner is now damaged and there is no solution except for a new pair of waterpoofrs.
