Helmet airbrushing/paint contact required

Hi folks

Need to get some paintwork done on a helmet but don't know of anyone who can do this. If anyone knows of someone can you please let me know.

You can ask Simon from Motorcycle Panel and paint. He has got an airbrush artist he uses to do tanks. He might be able to help you. I looked into it and it is a very costly exercise. I got a helmet custom painted, but did a lot of the prep work myself. It didn't involve airbrushing thought.

I have done some detailing work for an air brusher. He does great work and is a real perfectionist.

Doesn't painting a helmet make it illegal for on road use due to the paint effecting the outer shell?

As the fish said, no, it doesn't make it illegal. Unless you take off the AUS/NZ standard sticker, the coppers could theoreticaly hassle you. I got around that by masking the sticker and painting around it. But then you still got the sticker sown in the liner.

That is some sweet work hoddo- very nice. Still waiting on the helmets to come through but will look Mick up too. Thanks for the tip
