    Honda CBR 250RR 2009???

Excuse my ignorance but i found this:

    2009 HONDA CBR250RR RCV22 MC22 BUILD 1990/94 - BikePoint

    2009 HONDA CBR250RR RCV22 MC22 BUILD 2008 - BikePoint

Did honda start making cbr 250's again?

    Or is this a fraud?

compliance date 2009, build date in japan probably 1990-ish

    (its a grey import)

    edit:
inance $47 per week. LATEST 2008/09 BODY KITS. 90/94 2009 Compliance
tells you everything you need to know.

1990-1994 model, 2009 complied in AU, 2008/2009 body kit....

its an old imported bike, tarted up and complied in AU in 2009.

They really need to legislate something so this type of deception doesn't happen.

Sure to most of us it's obvious but I have met too many people thinking these are new :/

Theie emphasis is always on the complience date which obviously means dick.

Well technically the bike has to comply with the ADRs for the year of compliance, and is "rebuilt" as appropriate to comply.

Yes its crap, but really - anyone who buys a bike/car/house or whatever without doing the research deserves what they get....

I'm amazed nobody has firebombed Sumoto yet. They exclusively prey on n00bs.

Dodgiest company in the Oz bike industry I reckon, stay the hell away

Hopefully not , Doesn't happen here as most newbies can't be bothered with buying a bike from so far away... Fair bit of people do fall for them in Melbourne as I heard when I was there a couple of months ago. As a matter of fact I saw a couple of TIGA'd Cbr's there, probably from sumoto.

I'm paying a visit next time and pretend I'm a n00b and see what they try to sell me. Really curious.

Why isn't Honda doing a 250 blade anymore? They'd sell like hotcakes. The baby ninja seems to be going great guns for Kawasaki. It seems wierd they do a 125 and not a 250.

    (my guess)

Australia isn't a primary market what so ever, most 125's are sold in places like Britain and other european countries that have very strict learner restrictions, which limits newbies to 125's.

So my guess would be that there is a lot more demand for the 125 outside Australia that the demand there would be for 250's in australia and America and therefore not worth producing.

Sumoto selling the gullible 15 year old plus bikes tarted up as this years through new fairing kits and misleading advertising. I spoke to a guy in Melbourne that used to work near their shop. I can tell you that their idea of servicing and taking due care of that person's bike leaves a lot to be desired.

The Honda Shop down here in Mandurah.

They don't lie about the age though.
