    Bah! Who would want a NR, one ride down to the shops would result in a set of collapsed piston rings and a cloud of smoke and just imagine going down to your local Honda shop to buy parts.

    Would I buy one if I had the money and more importantly, the opportunity?
    Of course! They don't make bikes like that anymore and they never will.

    nah not a waste at all. some bikes fom some era's need to be collected by someone. our challenge of today is to figure out whats collectable and err collect it.

    I have no problem in knowing what’s collectable, my challenge is to convince my wife that the bike I’m looking at will be a sound long term investment that will benefit not just me but also the peoples of the world. Cash is a bit of a problem though. Tiger1, you're right, they don't make them like that anymore, the sound of an NR750 being reved out along the straight at Lakeside, sensational! It sounded like a group A V8 in front of a puch of 4 cyl Datsuns. I hope the owner of the aussie NR will continue to show it.
