Thread: Hot Tip

After spending 6 weeks riding every minute to get RE class licence and not doing much around the house the HOT tip is then dont try to compensate by trying to fill a skip with large bits of concrete (way big) to clear the land around your newly built house and drop one of the f'ing concrete blocks on your RIGHT hand and break a Farkin bone putting you in a cast for 6 weeks.....

    What a prize ass

Please feel free to laugh at my expense.....

Is there a dumbass award going?

I wish to nominate 8Ball for a shoes award for breaking bones in the lead up to summer. And for posting a non motorcycle topic in the general motorcycle topic section.

    Good Job!
The universe likes speed. Don't delay. Don't second guess. Don't doubt. When the opportunity is there, when the impulse is there, when the intuitive nudge from within is there, act.

its not exactly an all off topic thread, he did have the first line consisting of what he did leading up to his 'RE licence' and also indicates now he has the 'licence' he cant 'ride' because of said broken bone......lots of bike relativity i thought

sorry to hear it dude its really gotta suck right about now, wish i could give you advice of some sort.......but i'm useless

I can give you some advice: in warm weather, plaster casts itch like a bastard.

Drink lots (of alcohol), to kill the pain.
In life you only get one lap, might as well make it a good one.

Buy my stuff, everything now half price - http://www.perthstreetbikes.com/foru...woofer-144818/

I think that is 8Ball's solution to most problems (j/k)...hard luck mate...wouldn't get much work done around the house with that injury either!

    Cheers

Dont worry mate its taking a while for the weather to heat up. There will still be plenty of summer left to ride in once youre out of the cast.

8-ball mate, this story is GUARANTEED to make you feel better:

A mate of mine in the US shall remain nameless. He's a big BIG bike fanatic - especially rat bikes. His GF is too. Her engagement ring was a hose clamp.

Anyways. He used to work in a shop doing bikes up. The week before this particular event occured, he broke his left wrist play-wrestling with his gf. We'll leave it there, shall we?

Our injured hero gets tossed the keys to a customer's Harley and is ordered to take it on a shakedown run.

    So off he trundles.

1 hour goes by. Two hours... three. His gf is beside herself by this time.

4 hours, and she eventually locates him. In hospital. It appears something happened and he lowsided the bike.

The damage? A few scuffs and scratches to the bike, and a broken right wrist for a matching set!

So, how EXACTLY do you wipe your arse with 2 broken wrists?
