I'm just gauging a few mates, might have a place in Dunsborough I can kick off too if desperate.
That journey looks interesting. Have you ridden it before?

having lived in Busso for years, be very weary of the Tuart/Ludlow/Peppi area when going though around dusk (if you happen to pass through during that time of day).
The Roos come from nowhere and everywhere![]()
On the way down there, there's a place that sells Emu goods on the left ... they sell leather items, and supposedly pies (om nom nom ???) - Just wondered if anyone has tried one ?
Crikey...Perth to Busso would be the most travelled highway in WA. If you are heading for Marg River..Augusta...Dunsb...you would travel on this road. I am guessing that there are a lot of riders on here who think going to frgn 2J or Northam is a big riding adventure. Get down south...enjoy a full weekend away.
Hasn't everyone seen the Emu pie/ leather place down near Binningup turn-off? Its been there for at least 10 years. Pies are shit...as you'd imagine.
First-timers could base themselves in a caravan park in Duns and then do mini-trips all weekend to some wonderful locations. Caves Rd to Marg River, Dunsb for wineries, Meelup for the best bay in the SW. Go visit![]()
Justine.... Always and Forever

Your nick name always confuses me Hewzie ... Everytime I see I think ... I didnt respond in that thread.
Some say he eats sidchrome for breakfast
Some say he only showers on even days of the week
Some say he put an R1 motor in a coffee machine
All we know is he's Hewie.
There is a place called Margaret River venison... awesome noms to be had there. I don't think I have to indicate where it actually is![]()

Just before the emu pie place is a turn off to the new "Old Coast Road Brewery". There beer is pretty reasonable, but the place is well set out.
Worthwhile dropping in for a feed, a drink and clean the visor.
I usually do something similar to this. They are no the best roads but are nice and twisty and keeps you entertained as there is lots to do on the way.
