lol me too 600's are a bitch to wheelie
Our Father, Who art at Phillip Island, Hallowed be thy name
Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done
In the backroads as it is on the freeway
Give us this day our high-octane premium fuel
    And forgive us our lanesplitting
As we forgive the four wheel drives, the volvos and the taxis
And lead us not into gravel corners
But deliver us from hand-held radars
For thine is thy leather, thy denim, thy Gore-Tex and thy Kevlar

Use Ham Fist Power. It's extremely effective when combined with Clutch.

    feels good doesnt it?

i always found the clutch ups a lot more consistent than trying to power (ololol it was a 600) wheelie. though she struggled to lift at any kind of speed, really needed a 90 degree corner, traffic lights etc before so i could slow down.

the thou on the other hand.... that clutch still works above 150.
    season 2012 is coming.....

Well done. It won't be long before you'll be saying memorable things like "I've got these wheelies fucking sussed!"

Get the power wheelies goin first . So u learn to balance a bit. Then learn the bikes sweet spot torq wise . Try in second gear first time if ur on a 1000 . Shite happens real quick in 1st . + I learned to change gears on the back wheel whilst power whelin . Helps on the way down so u don't just run outa rpms and hit the deck hard if u start comin down. .

Hahaha I've had my stripple for 2 weeks. The first day I got the bike never to own anything over 250cc, I started trying to clutch it up.
Now I can finally say I have found the balance point haha.
    Congrats man.

You realise the SEF* for wheelies is the same as fishing, i.e. 30%.

Did you take this into account in your 300m estimate?

+1 on using 2nd. if you're coming down a bit hard, just try giving it a bit of gas on the way down and that will make for a much smoother landing (ie easier on the nads )
