Lefts or right handers?
I dunno what it is but give me a left corner over a right any time..
i dunno if its been the riding on roads just wide enough for 2 cars and don't fancy getting decapitated by an oncoming whatever ..
goin round a right hander hanging ya head out on the white line just never seem's that clever to me...
so now i just seem to enjoy lefts more alot more to be honest....
The tires don't lie either no chcken strip on the left and a slight (cough) strip on the right
so do ya have a favourite???

Like em both but me still has chicken strips so me thinks me not speak too loud . But do agree with not hanging the head over the white line too much.

Rights all the way, I dislike lefties for some reason, same goes when surfing/bodyboarding, i always go to the right. I suck at going to the left.
Going right feels natural, left not so much.

Left's on the bike. Right's in the car. Guess it evens out.
Used to prefer left turn thermals when flying gliders to.

much prefer my left turns, just feels more natural hanging off the bike that way...
despise o-turns during my test because it was a tight right hander and felt weird

Left because road riders are more used to going faster on left handers because we dont have to cross traffic to do it, unlike right handers.

It's a good theory but on overseas motorcycle forums where they ride on the right hand side of the road people still seem to prefer left handers. I think the fact that the throttle is on the right hand side has something to do with it, or maybe the left side of the brain is what gets used in riding (I'm just guessing here)

...or we like protecting our strong side (assuming the overwhelming majority or us are right eye dominant and right handed)...

I think i choose left because it's easier to control throttle and clutch on a left hand, though i am majorly right eye and right hand dominant

I don't think it has anything to do with white lines on the road, even on a track i feel much better taking a left.
Just feels more natural.

Left. Have no probs leaning more if necessary on lefts, but am still worried about cutting corners in righties or running wide. Can look far ahead on lefties but on righties tend to look closer and then often have to change line. Still not 100% on the countersteering on righties. Especially when I haven't had a long run for a few weeks.
Strangely my brother is the opposite. We never did agree on much.

use to like both but now its rights because there are bugger all good lefties out there...even at the track!
at intersections, rights are a longer turn than the quick around left.

Hmm i put left coz i usually find more left turns when i'm riding that are good to ride fast on. But saying that i love a good right hander to. i don't really feel like i go over further on one side

I thought it was that our outer half of our body controls the bike when you go around corners?
ie go around a left-hand corner and it's your right side that controls the bike.
Most of us are right handed/right-side dominant, so therefore we feel more confident on left-turn corners.
Which means that left-handed people would be more confident going around right corners.

Might also be interesting to see if people are left or right handed.
There was some study I read a long time ago about Dogs being left and right (hmm pawed) brained. Watch to see which way they naturally turned.
You really notice it when training for Agility, obedience and such some dogs will do a complete circle in the oposite direction to turn the other way. Intrieging really...

Lefts. I have had knee down on the left, but not on the right yet.
Trying to rectify that, I'll get there eventually
I feel much more confident in a left hander and anyone that has ridden with me/looked at my tyres will agree...
Not sure why, the throttle theory is something I have considered before, might be true?

Interesting that. Give me a right corner any day of the week. I'm left handed.
hmmmm.
