I'm gonna take a guess and say that's just like the when the new cars get tested.

They put fugly shit all over them to stop people getting an idea what they are gonna look like.

That or some rich kid is bored again.

Looks .. different.

But if its based on their new engine like the new 1200 they have, it will have 160+hp on the rear (or more) and the kossack suspension is meant to be a dream on the track/road allowing for much later breaking, breaking in turns and all in all a better ride on the bike.

Besides a little love and aftermarket parts will make it look good

Who cares how it looks is about the ride right? I'm actually impressed that BMW are putting some money and effort into their 2 wheel creations now so we are bound to see some new "modern" german bikes which appeal to the younger crowd.
