    New brand of Kevlar jeans?

    Denizens of PSB,

I did a quick search by this brand and nothing popped up, but has anyone heard anything about Resolute Jeans for kevlar jeans/pants? They appear to be a fairly new brand according to their website (2009?), and their products are certainly cheaper than Draggins by ~$100, with free Australian shipping.

Now, I know the maxim you get what you pay for, hence why I was hoping to see if anyone else had any experience with this company and their products recently.

If not, I guess I'll give them a burl and post up results.

Never heard of it, but I'd be careful. I had Draggins before, then recently bought another brand at the last bike show.......not happy.
My advise, spend the money on quality brands.

Not Resolute, but these were on sale for $59.99 a couple of days ago and I missed out.

    Products « Urban Kreation

Urban Kreation Kevlar Jeans. Designed for sports, but I think they would make some decent riding pants for $59.99.

Street Smart motorcycle pants :: Resolute Kevlar Jeans

Looks pretty decent $159 for kevlar jeans with free CE approved hip + Knee armour inserts. And free T shirt too.

And they also custom the jeans in their range. I think im going to try these out too.
They picked me last for kickball . I picked them first for ballkicks

I ended up buying 2 pairs based off this thread, but then also bought 2 pairs of Bull-It pants from 5 star later that week, so haven't had a chance to try them out.

Good fit, but don't know what they're like on the bike.

I recommend Sartso. They smooth out the kevlar a bit which makes it a very comfortable jeans to wear. They also have considerably alot more kevlar right down the back and front of your legs than other jeans. The jeans also come with knee pads pockets, so you can place in pads or take them out depending on what you are doing.

    Good for those long rides.

see the 22 yr old pepsi ltd ed rgv 1989 vj21 collector on my avatar ?
Well i just threw it down james street northbridge in a hissy fit with my life. and thanks to the pair or draggins my brother gave to me (he was too fat to fit into them and im too cheap to buy a pair)im still alive and have no real skin loss except my poor baby pepsi is gonna need months of tlc to get back to normal.
Please laugh at me coz im really quite pathetic. i asked the bike to slow down too quickly for that weird looking roundabout and the next thing i know im rolling down the road with keep left signs and bollards whizzing past my eyes!THINKING ROLL LEFT ROLL LEFT ROLL LEFT
well the pepsi is repairable and ive also got a spare bike for bits but im done with feeling sorry for myself for now and i hope to rejoin the grouprides soon
if i knew howto send a pic of myself and whats left of my draggins woohoo they have absorbed so much of the crash i cant begin to thank the enough
i literrally barrel rolled down james street northbridge like the douche i am rolling left and trying to keep my feet forward as i skidded and my head away from the right side kerb snd keep my helmet off the ground . the solitary couple in northbridge who were there to ask me if i were ok after i jumped to my feet were astounded to hear my deep roar of a laugh when i realised im ok and the bike is repairable . thanks fellow riders for your support while i go thru my midlife crisis
At least i had the decency to crash with no one around to worry about me and i was fit enough to catch a cab home ,get my trailer and go back to town and collect my scratched to fuckery baby . thanks to the police too who watched me load up my bike with a tear strewn face and had the decency to leave me alone to my own miserable existence. buy the draggins is my advice or dont fall off thanks fellow riders for reading my rant.

Mate, that sucks, sorry to hear it. I know it's easy to say this... but It's just a bike, you'll fix her and probably put some nice shiny new bits on in the process, the important thing is that you didn't get seriously hurt.

I think i dislocated my left shoulder and bruised my ego.
Like casey said to rossi I think my ambition overtook my ability
Have a laugh though coz im ok and when i went back to the bike, the northbridge streetsweepers had swept up my right original mirror and most of my right handlebar and bits and were laughing about it all as they took off.
my wedding anniversary shift jacket is destroyed as i skidded a good 50 metres and i lost my USSR infantry war badge i had on it but it protected me brilliantly
and as for my bike it can be fixed and did a brilliant job of washing off the excess speed before we separated and my rolling to the left to avoid the big hurts ha ha
Im tired goodnight fellow readers wheres the bandaids, thanks for reading. Teach ur kids the art of crashing (and it is an art)
why the fuck i blasted into northbridge with cold brakes and then slammed them on? coz i was inna bad mood and im learning about my limitations every day

Christ mate hope you'll heal up quick.

I'd definitely like to see a picture of the draggins and maybe the road rash you got though the kevlar
