    I like Shark Helmets but they're always a bit close fitting across the front. Maybe this one will give us with big noses and chins more room?

    Nice loooking and Shark helmets are nice quality

    But it wouldn't be approved for racing as it isn't considered a full face helmet.

    From what I've heard this is the first flip-front helmet that has passed the European Full Face test. All others are tested as open face lids.

    @Flash Harry
    Try them dude, the different Shark models vary a heck of a lot. I can't wear Arai because of that very reason, the chin bar presses against my chin/mouth. The Shark RSI and RSR models have just the right amount of space (not sure others though).

    Bought one last week at Mack1.
    Fairly quiet compared to the Nolan flip front and about the same as the Shoei flipper.
    Was a good test ride to Collie in the pouring rain last sunday, didnt fog up too much, good ventilation to the point of closing it to keep warm.
    Internal viser is brilliant. Stops the sun that comes over the top of your sunnies.
    Comfortable fit, even compared to the shoei 1000 I have.
    Worn it non stop all week and would recommend it highly.

    Nolan n102's are noisy, unfortunately, and it's all down to the join. Riding along, put one hand over the side join, noise decreases dramatically. Etymotics, courtesy of andy's group buy, are the shizz.

    Do you know something that MWA don't because I have had it in writing that a Nolan flip front helmet is approved for racing?

    They are $599- I've seen them at Suzuki in Perth, & also one bottom end of Vic Park & one of the stores in Midland. None of them would negotiate on price. I ended up buying one with the flip up sun visor on the outside but It's a full face helmet. Mostly price but it was a bit lighter as well. Happy with Shark although if I had my chance again, I'd probably have got one of these.
