New Shark Helmet hits Ozzy

Bought one last week at Mack1.
Fairly quiet compared to the Nolan flip front and about the same as the Shoei flipper.
Was a good test ride to Collie in the pouring rain last sunday, didnt fog up too much, good ventilation to the point of closing it to keep warm.
Internal viser is brilliant. Stops the sun that comes over the top of your sunnies.
Comfortable fit, even compared to the shoei 1000 I have.
Worn it non stop all week and would recommend it highly.

Don't suppose the clear visor is UV protective like the Nolan is it? Despite the noise, that's one thing i like about the N102 - on a big trip you don't get a burnt face and in the dark you can see where you're going.

I am a BIG fan of Shark helmets (I own two), but the modular thing...I don't know... They are generally regarded as being inferior to the standard full face helmets, so I don't really mess with them.

They are $599- I've seen them at Suzuki in Perth, & also one bottom end of Vic Park & one of the stores in Midland. None of them would negotiate on price. I ended up buying one with the flip up sun visor on the outside but It's a full face helmet. Mostly price but it was a bit lighter as well. Happy with Shark although if I had my chance again, I'd probably have got one of these.

Well i've been all over Perth and can't find these for $599 - all the shops are selling them for $699-$799. Where did you see them for that price mate? I tried Suzuki, Helmet House, Mack1 and another shop at the bottom end of Vic Park.

Also, does anyone know if you can get them in XXL? I have a big pumpkin head lol (EDIT: don't worry, they only go up to XL apparently)

That particular helmet is from Shark and is the Evoline series and this helmet is called the Absolute. I know this because I just bort 2 from Dale Brittons in Vic Park.
I have been told that nobody likes the color. I personally love it and think it is a great color with great graphics.
Prestage Honda in Melville and Motomax in Osborne Park to name a few stock them. They retail for $749.00 for this model or $699.00 for the plain.
