Nollamara to Welshpool pits and back- sorry late notice

Got a Yellow today for the lack of a rear fender, wrong place at the wrong time


I have managed to sort my bike out in record time, i just need to get it to welshpool before 12pm so i can get it over the pits, its my last day of holidays so it couldnt have come at a worse time as when i start back i will have no time to get it over,

If anyone can please help me just PM me or if anyone knows of a tow service that can take my bike and drop it off please let me know.

happy to pay for the persons time I just need it sorted and sorry for the late notice I have only just finished the mods to get it back to a semi standard form.

even just a lift there then i can leave it at my work in Welshpool

RR, have you ever been to Welshpool pits? You'd probably want to get there well before 12pm and be prepared to stand there for 4+ hours. I got there at 730am and when I left at 11am the line was double what it was when I got there.

Had a great chap Peter who was an old school biker that rode ducati's in his younger days, he came striaght up to me even though there were cars ahead of me, lol

only had to wait 20mins and he loved it along with the home made rear mud flap, he wasnt going to ride it till I said it would be unfair an in order to do his job properly he should take it, non the less he rode it and was gone a while, lol then came back with a grin from ear to ear, I think I made his day, lol

So just to clarify, if you get yellowed for a FE and you take it to the pits, is it a requiremnt for them to ride your bike or do they simply do a visual inspection to ensure the original fender is mounted correctly (indicators/rear license light) all works as required? I dont think I'd want them riding my bike considering it was yellowed onlt beacuse of the FE!

If it is anything like a defect on a car, then it doesnt matter what the sticker was issued for, they must do a full inspection and test ride/drive to ensure the car is in road worthy state before removing the defect.

The pits and the cops are two different departments. It's at their discretion if they ride it or not.

Thats bullshit...Looks like my original fenders going back on now! Not keen on someone I dont know taking my bike for a spin...probs thrash it when they take it for a spin!

They can and will ride it. They don't usually go far enough that you can't hear them though.

I had to tap that dikkie indicator as it stoped working again, the guy didnt notice me tapping it so I got away with it, hahahaha
